Features user control panels moderated by the administrator, image and document upload and management, mass emailing facilities and Crontab scripts for the creation of summary reports and updates. The site was developed for Taskil Ltd and can be seen live at www.lapfag.org.uk.

SMDC screenshotStaffordshire Moorlands

Work placement involved working with the webmaster to convert the existing Macromedia Flash based website to use dreamweaver templates producing HTML.

Additional work carried out included configuration of MySQL database to allow for dynamic content creation, installation of Invision Board discussion forum software and work on the intranet site, view website.

Also a system for tracking the administration of council services was developed by working with users and managers to ensure business needs were met titled 'RAPID'. The system was rolled out in 2003 initially to monitor feedback from customers. Technologies used were ASP and Microsoft Access.

Expansion of the RAPID system developed while at Staffordshire Moorlands DC to allow for the tracking of projects and lessons learned.

Developments included migration to Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and improving on the reporting sections to include Microsoft Word Mail Merge facilities.

PHP Clan Info ScreenshotPHP Clan InfoProject during final year at university involving analysis, design, implementation and testing of a modular and extensible solution for the management and organisation of online gaming teams.

Development was PHP based using a MySQL database, extensible through the creation of a basic API and modular sections using some Object Orientated techniques. Customisable as styled completely using CSS for presentation.

A demonstration system and website is planned soon on Sourceforge.net.
